History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ar-Pratu was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Flame was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Gifted from a young age, Greeba studied abroad. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
