Description: This late middle aged man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. Baern liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Baern was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She bought a bastard sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
