History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Darrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
