Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Xappan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Xappan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Melissa embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

History: Audhild hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Audhild was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care.
