Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Dyer. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Through the years after Beast was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Beast's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to get a good night's sleep
