During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Osah speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age her father died while driving off some gnolls. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in falchion use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Osah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
