History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nil. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Xanaphia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
