History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her youth she was a Miller, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Surina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

History: Hugh was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
