History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

She prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available she will default to her greataxe. She has dyed her greying cinnamon fur a little too much giving a sharp cinnamon color. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Shifting enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand her business

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and revenge
