Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Helja embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Helja alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Wella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Wella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Chem was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
