Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He carries a battered whip and tarnished hand crossbow as well. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shepherd. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chay was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: Jacoba is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a whip on her belt. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is her passion.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Bather. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again; and sabotage a competitor
