History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ownka grew up listening to her father's many stories. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
