Valanthe was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She became a Priest soon after.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and money/treasure

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
