History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was a Junk Dealer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He became a Cartwright soon after.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Cairn was taken on many hunting expeditions. Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by drow. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Caeldrim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Caeldrim. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
