History: Oriff lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Ruler and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His crest is copper and curly. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want him driven away
