History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Beggar like her mother before her.

History: He got into the Fletcher business at a young age. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Anne was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Architect. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Architect responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
