History: He was born into a rich family. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he is greedy

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Morthos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Body Guard soon after.

History: He was born in the west. Rael was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Slave Trader. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
