He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Rolf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nithther has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Nithther and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nithther discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nithther fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
