Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Delebean's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born in a small island village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Farmer responsibilities is difficult; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
