Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for her, and Adelaide does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
