History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dagnal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
