History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. After coming to the age of reason, Nuthra took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rathkran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rathkran. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
