History: Born in the west to a Sculptor, Tagga learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Sculptor like her father before her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nedda embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nedda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nedda. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Peter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
