Personality: Cask is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her fur, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A 5'6" western woman, she dresses like a well dressed Guard does. She has styled her black hair well, parting it to the right. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. A true patriot, Adelaide would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Architect. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and an old rival family wants him found
