History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Through the years after Burana was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Burana's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.
