Personality: Juliana is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Juliana took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.
