Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. After a long history of fighting, Salanop and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Gardener father left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy
