History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ermina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Stylist, but she got bored and became a Fletcher. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
