Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carter business.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Gadreel learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now mingles about in high society.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
