History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She tends to her Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Kilia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
