History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the west to a Mason, Sammal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
