Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Quick does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Fibblestib was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
