History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Ida learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second son.

She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa.
