Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Through the years after Traulam was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Traulam's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Traulam and her spouse have recently divorced.
