History: The child of a Stableman, who enjoyed hunting, Verin was taken on many hunting expeditions. When Verin reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a Detective, her father struggled to pay the bills. She worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
