History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Skog was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Skog's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Ovina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. She has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
