Through the years after Jade was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jade's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: She wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available she will default to her kukri, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'0" when asserting herself. She has moderate length brown hair. She has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alain. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
