History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
