When Chad reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jarana embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.
