History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
