History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veit grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
