Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Modean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Modean took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. He has white hair. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Hobart hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To protect his home; and someone believes him a fraud
