History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Engong was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Erdan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his writing dream.
