Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Shamash was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shamash's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shamash and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Alston was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears long strands of opal and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gold eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a long, grey cloak. His golden hair is lengthy. He has gray eyes and a grey hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Map Maker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When Taklinn reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
