His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gell took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His beige fur is knotted and matted. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Jade lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mayor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears baggy white pantaloons and a blue scarf. Her hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She comes from a rich western family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently the stress of being a Glassblower has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
