His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Dustin is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
