History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Helen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nirgel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
