History: Pennie was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Junk Dealer.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
