History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She found a children's book about a Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
