History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her daughter

Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Valanthe is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sage business.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and wants to raise her children well
